Biography

Angelo L. Pastore, husband, father, and grandfather died on February 4th, 2010 at the age of 80. He was born in Brooklyn. N.Y., then moved to Long Island and in 1996 moved to St. Augustine.
Angelo was a general store manager for Pathmark Supermarkets. He was noted for his excellence in public relations. He received the "Citizens Advocate Award" for his support and service from the Rosemary Kennedy School for Intellectually Disabled students. Angelo also served in the Korean War with the U.S. Army from 1951-1953. After he moved to St. Augustine he volunteered his services to the St. John's County Police Department as a PSA.
Angelo is survived by his wife Ann, his 6 children, Debbie Linger and her husband Paul, Linda Noftell and her husband Joe, Michele Payne, Renee Baretto and her husband Sam, Elisa Pastore, and Angelo Pastore III, and his 12 grandchildren.
There will be a Memorial Gathering at St. Anastasia Catholic Church Monday, February 8th at 5:00pm-6:00pm with Prayers at 5:00pm.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anastasia Catholic Church Tuesday, February 9th at 9:00 am with Father Seamus O' Flynn as Celebrant.
