Life Legacy
Jose Burgos passed away peacefully March 5, 2010 at the Community Hospice Hadlow Center for Caring in Jacksonville. He was 53 years old . A native of Brooklyn, New York, Jose and his family have lived in St. Augustine since 1993 where Jose owned Jose's Lawn Service.
A piece of our life is gone. One that can never be replaced. Why? Only God knows, but one thing we do know is that we will see each other again in Heaven.
He is survived by his wife: Margarita, their children: Melissa B. Torres, and Jeffrey J. Burgos, all of St. Augustine, his mother: Jovita R. Burgos, sisters: Enelida, Everlinda, Nilda, and Nereida Burgos, brothers: Felix and Efrain Burgos, and four grandchildren.
The visitation will at Craig Funeral Home Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm followed by the funeral service at 6:00pm
Flowers are declined. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society First Coast Beaches, St. Johns, and Nassau Unit 1430 Prudential Drive Jacksonville, FL 32277, or to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida 525 State Rd. 16 St. Augustine, FL 32084-3841 would be appreciated.
