    Anne Lynne McCormick

    April 10, 1951 - December 9, 2021

    Lynne Harper McCormick 4-10-51 to 12-9-21 Lynne passed away peacefully and painlessly after a prolonged illness. Lynne was a native of Shreveport, LA and was a 1969 graduate of C.E. Byrd High School and attended Louisiana Polytechnic Institute where she met, married, and is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth McCormick. She is also survived by son James McCormick, daughter-in-law Brittinie McCormick, grandson Cyrus McCormick all of Marietta, GA, son Clark McCormick of St Augustine, FL, and sister Dolores Luedke of New Braunsfel, TX. Lynne was preceded in death by her father, Harry “Bert” Harper and mother, Margaret “Anne” Harper of Shreveport LA. Lynne was a creative wonder. She specialized in pastel and acrylic portraits and was an award winning playwright, having written and produced Jane’s Harvest among other plays. There will be a reception in her honor at Craig Funeral Home, 1475 Old Dixie Hwy, St Augustine, FL on Tuesday, December 14 from 1p to 3p. Followed a Celebration of Life service at The Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 1100 Stockton St, Jacksonville, FL 32204 commencing at 2p on Saturday, December the 18th. The family requests that donations in lieu of flowers be sent to Community Hospice Bailey Family Center, 200 Health Park Blvd, St Augustine, FL. 32086. So long Lynne, we love you and your bright aura will never be forgotten
