Anthony Chavez III

January 19, 1980 - May 14, 2022

Anthony Carl Chavez III, 42, was lost to a senseless act of violence on May 14 th , 2022. He was born in Maywood, IL on January 19 th , 1980. He began to find his true happiness living in St. Johns, FL He is survived by his wife of 2 years, Jessica Chavez and children Travis Chavez, Drake Chavez, Audrey Chavez and stepson Gabriel Thoma. He is also is survived by his parents Anthony and Grace Chavez, brother Matthew Chavez, and grandparents Anthony Chavez and Patricia Chavez. He also leaves behinds many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Tony was known as the neighbor sitting outside in the driveway, always having the smoker fired up. This was so unexpected and we were not prepared to deal with the shock, heartache, and grief this has put upon our family. While there is some peace knowing Tony was surrounded with some family. It has forever changed so many lives. “Breathe, a beautiful reminder to do what comes naturally. It’s the first thing we do when we come into this world, and the last thing we do when we leave. Just breathe.” In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations.
