Charles A. Taylor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Charles A. Taylor, 89, joined his Lord and Savior peacefully at his home on July 19, 2022, surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was born to Ralph and Vivian (Biddy) Taylor on June 27, 1933, and was a lifetime resident of St Augustine. He dearly loved his hometown. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann (Ferreira) Taylor; son, Charles Keith Taylor; grand-daughter, Crystal Ann Taylor; great grandson, Shane Stratton; brother, Carlyle Taylor, and many aunts and uncles, all of St. Augustine. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army at Brigstock Camp in England, serving with the 32nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Brigade. Prior to serving his Country, he married Ann Marie Ferreira, his soul mate, love of his life, and best friend, they were happily married for 40 years. After serving his Country, he continued to work hard providing for his family and served 34 years at the St. Johns County Road & Bridge Department as a heavy equipment operator. He was an avid hunter who loved and enjoyed many years in the woods with his hound dogs, his family and his friends. He leaves his daughter Sonia (Glenn) Wilson, daughter in law, Pat Taylor, grandchildren, Melissa (Beau) Stratton, Teri Fuller, Brandon Wilson (Katie), Jodi Wilson (Anthony) Edgell, great-grandchildren Tyler Priddy, Shyann Stratton, Noah Fuller, Brant and Ryleigh Wilson, Dalton, Eden and Cierra Edgell.
