Donald Glenn Petteway, age 64 of Clay County, passed away April 12, 2022 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Donald Glenn was born on March 14, 1958 in Palatka, FL. He was raised and lived most of his life in Jacksonville, FL where he met his highschool sweetheart Jacqueline Howell. They got married on July 21, 1979 and she became Jacqueline Howell Petteway. They were together 47 beautiful years and married 43 years. They have two daughters, Amanda Petteway Glaze and Glenda Petteway Pacetti. He was also a loving Grandfather (Papa) of three grandchildren, Christopher Glaze Jr. Brea Amanda Glaze, and Levi Glenn Pacetti. He has two son in laws, Christopher Glaze Sr. and Chad Pacetti who he loved very much. He was a business owner for most of his life. He loved being with his family and vacationing. He enjoyed several hobbies passionately, diving and fishing were among his favorite things to do. He was family to everyone he met and loved by all. He loved to tell jokes and make everyone laugh. He was a strong and loving man and will be greatly missed by who knew him. He will be laid to rest Friday April 22, 2022 at 1PM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Cemetery.
