Foster Buzz Allard, 74 ,passed away Monday August 2nd after a long illness. He was born in Worcester Massachusetts on March 10, 1947, the son of Ernest and Ruth Allard. He grew up in Sturbridge, Massachusetts and graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School in Sturbridge in 1965. He joined the Air Force after graduation and after basic training was stationed at Chanute Air Force Base in Illinois. He married his high school sweetheart Linda Crawford in Sturbridge in 1967 and they moved to St Augustine, Florida in 1974. He worked many years in sales and owned his own company Chem Supply. He worked in different departments at Flagler Hospital for 14 years then worked for St Johns pharmacy for 5 years before retiring. He loved talking to people, playing golf, collecting coins, classic cars and singing. He loved his family and his dog Jojo. He also loved watching the Red Sox, Patriots, and Jaguars-his favorite teams. He had a strong Faith in God and loved attending Community Bible Church where he was a member and head usher. He was predeceased by his parents-his brothers Richard and Ronald Allard and his sister Jacquie Bezio, He is survived by his wife of 54 years Linda Allard and his sons Kevin Keith and Kirk Allard, his daughter-in-law Tiffany, grandchildren Dean and Kyle and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a kind and loyal man who made many friends and will be greatly missed. The service will be held on Saturday August 14th at Community Bible Church on US 1 South in St Augustine at 12pm. There will be a reception luncheon in the church fellowship hall after the service. Burial will be in the Veterans Plaza of Craig Memorial Park in St Augustine. We would also like to thank the people at Vitas Hospice and Visiting Angels for their wonderful care and kindness for Mr. Allard during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers-donations can be made to the local chapter of the National Alzheimer’s Association.
