Jill Therese (Murphy) Hunt—beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt—passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was born on June 30, 1962, in Champaign, Illinois, to William and Patricia Murphy. After growing up and raising a family of her own in Connecticut, she spent the last 6 years of her life in St. Augustine, Florida. Jill had a beautiful, generous heart and a smile that warmed anyone who came into her orbit. Memories of her strength, style, and intelligence will linger as blessings for the friends and family she leaves behind. Jill is survived by her son, Austin Hunt (Waterford, CT); her mother, Patricia Murphy (Waterford, CT); sisters Sandy Gondek (Windsor, CT); Eryn Boudreau and fiancé, Wade (St. Augustine, FL); Michelle Wynne and husband John (Hebron, CT); her niece Breigh O’Leary and husband Patrick (St. Augustine, FL); her nephew Conor Wynne and niece Meghan Wynne (Hebron, CT). She is predeceased by her son, Corey Hunt; her father; and her brother-in-law, Edward Gondek. Jill’s family will have a celebration of her life sometime in the future, to be determined.
