Linda K. Chester

On January 11, 2022 Linda K. Chester slipped the surly bonds of Earth surrounded by her friends and family at Flagler Hospital. Linda Kay Whitaker was born on April 3, 1943. In 1976 Linda married Robert Chester, who pre-deceased her on November 17, 1989. They had a daughter Karen Paige Parker who also pre-deceased her on February 28, 2002. Linda was a premiere real estate agent for Old Carriage Realty during her working career. In retirement Linda loved to go on cruises and try her luck at the gambling tables. Linda kept busy donating her time to working with the St Augustine Council on Aging where she packed food for meals on wheels. When not working for the COA, Linda was an avid reader and supporter of The St. Johns County Public Library. Linda is survived by her granddaughter Alexis Breen of Colorado, who she loved with all her heart. Flowers are gratefully declined those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the Council on Aging.
