Linda Winters of Palm Coast, FL passed May 20, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on February 25, 1947 in Jacksonville, FL to Mamie and John McClellan. She is predeceased by her parents; her husband of 37 years, Jim Winters; her son, Jim Winters, Jr; her mother-in-law, Mary Winters; and her son-in-law, Dave McLean. Linda is survived by her son Richard Winters (Mary K.) of Knoxville, TN and their children Courtney and Nicolas; her daughter Lisa McLean of Palm Coast, FL and her son Alex; her daughter-in-law, Edna Winters of St. Augustine, FL and her daughters Kristina and Sara; her granddaughter, Amber Winters of San Diego, CA; her great grandchildren, Peyton, James, Russell, and Quintin, her brothers, John and Richard McClellan; her sister, Donna McClellan; her sister-in-law, Cookie McClellan, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be especially missed by her sister, Carol Hershman; her daughter, Vikki Sims; her grandchildren, Kristin and Toby; and her great grandchildren, Tucker and Noah. Linda was the light in the room as soon as she entered. Everyone gravitated toward her because of her bubbly sense of humor and open and generous heart. She never met a stranger and everyone was always her favorite. She and her husband, Jim were long time patrons of Arnolds Lounge where they played darts competitively. She was also an avid card player and could be found at Amvets most weeks playing poker. She was an amazing wife, daughter-in-law, mother, mother-in-law, aunt, sister, neighbor, and friend. She has a left huge hole in many hearts and will be missed dearly.
