Lucille Britt Carter

Lucille Britt Carter, 93, of Florahome, previously from St. Augustine, FL, died February 17th, 2022, at Putnam Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 8,1928, to Marie and Frank Britt in Connellsville, PA. She married Charles Carter on October 14, 1950 and they had two children, David and Janis. She worked in the banking industry for 30 plus years before and retired from First Union Bank. She was an avid church lover. She loved being surrounded by her family and many grand, great grand, and great-great grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching game shows and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by both her children, David Carter and his wife Todd Ann Carter, and Janis Treganowen and her husband Bob Treganowen, grandchildren Dawn Broudy, David Driggers, Britt Heinrich, Katie Gagnon, Lee Koloszyc & Brett Carter. Great grandchildren Samantha Platt, Savannah Leggett, Shannon Metros, Jordan Driggers, Dylan Strickland, Brooke Heinrich, Natalie Broudy, Porter Broudy, Kendall Gagnon, David Gagnon III and Morgan and Oliver Koloszyc. Great-great grandchildren Ryland Vabolis, Bennett Vabolis, Cecelia Leggett, Macie Leggett, & Maverick Metros. She is preceded in death by her parents Marie and Frank Britt, her husband Charles Carter, her brother Donald Britt, sister-in-law Maryann Britt, & many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 2pm at San Lorenzo Cemetery in St. Augustine, FL.
