Marion Gloria Ruggeri Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Marion Gloria Ruggeri, 91, St. Augustine, departed this earth on May 28, 2022, at Moultrie Creek Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her sister Gina Provenzano of New York, her sons Joseph J. Ruggeri, and son and daughter-in-law, John R. and Manu Ruggeri; and four grandchildren, Nicholas, Maria and Jesse Ruggeri,Julianna and husband Shayne Schneider all of St. Augustine. She resided in St. Augustine for nearly 46 years. She was born on May 8, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Louis and Francis Provenzano and is predeceased by her late husband John Ruggeri, her sister Wanda Caliendo and brother Dante Provenzano. Marion enjoyed spending time with her friends in the homemakers club where they regularly went out to lunch and enjoyed the greater St. Augustine area. She was a talented painter who found great pleasure in painting the nature she saw around her. Marion's greatest enjoyment in life was cooking for her loved ones and serving them Sunday dinners. Marion will always be remembered as a loving wife, a comforting mother and an endearing grandmother. She will be missed by her family and all that knew her. A viewing will be held Friday June 17th at Craig's Funeral Home from 1-2p.m. and a memorial service will follow directly after. Flowers are gratefully declined and those wishing to make contributions may do so to St. Jude Children's Hospital which was Marion's favorite charity.
