Nancy Ann Herbkersman On Monday, June 6, 2022, Nancy Ann (Elder) Herbkersman, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 66. Nancy was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in International Relations. After working many years in the corporate world and then as a stay-at-home mom, Nancy found her calling in real estate. For the past 20 years, Nancy used her passion to help people find their dream homes. Over her lifetime, Nancy was an active church and school volunteer, leading marriage preparation classes in Maryland, serving as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist at churches in Maryland, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Florida, and facilitating the hot lunch program for the children at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Bethel, CT. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Elder and mother, Kathryn (Wellman) Elder. She is survived by her husband John Herbkersman, daughter Amy, son Christopher, daughter Sarah, brother James Elder (Penelope Caldwell Elder), 11 nieces and nephews, and four grand-nieces and nephews. There will be a Funeral Mass for Nancy on Wednesday, June 29 at 9 am at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida.
