Patrick Edward Parry

Patrick Edward Parry, died peacefully in his home on June 10, 2022, at the age of 90. Born in St, Augustine, Florida, Ed attended St. Joseph’s Academy, and graduated in 1950. Ed joined the Coast Guard and served for four years. He married the love of his life, Kathleen “Tootsie” Cunning, in 1958. Ed had a fulfilling career of 30 years at the Florida School of the Deaf and Blind as a Master Carpenter. His passions were fishing, fishing, & fishing, building boats, enjoying his family, and the Florida State Seminoles. He enjoyed many weekends with family and friends smoking fish and watching football in “The Gazebo”. Ed is survived by his wife of 64 years, Tootsie, his four children Steve of Jacksonville, Kevin (Nedra) of St. Augustine, Tina Waldrop (Ralph) of St. Augustine, and Brianne Strange (James) of St. Augustine. His three grandchildren Brad Waldrop (Danielle), Steven Waldrop, Brendan Strange, and several great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandson Justin Strange. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with Prayers at 6:00 at Craigs Funeral Home on June 14, 2022. A Mass celebrating Ed’s life will be held at 9:00 AM on June 15, 2022, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine immediately followed by a reception at the St. Augustine Boating Club, 611 Boating Club Road, St. Augustine, FL 32084.
