Rose Marie Jarriel

Rose Marie Jarriel age 83 ran into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 9, 2022. Rose Marie was born to Cleveland D. and Eula Mae Hasty on September 23, 1938 in Boston, GA. She was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine, FL. She worked for Dobbs Brothers Book Bindery for over 30 years and retired from St. Augustine High School as a Library Technician after 20 years. She was a member of McDowell Baptist Church for 64 years. Rose Marie loved to read, travel, shop, and fish when she could. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She is survived by her husband Rufus of 65 years, her children Pamela Singletary (Joe) and Dwayne Jarriel (Penny). Six Grandchildren, Christy Moody, Madesyn Howard (John), Alexis Sawyer (John), Tiffany Ranck (Matthew), Morghan Jarriel, Makenna Jarriel, three great granddaughters and one on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Jean Johnson of Little Rock, Arkansas, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Elaine Jarriel. Her Celebration of Life will be held at Craig Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Visitation at 9:00 am and Service at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Family and Friends will gather afterwards.
