Stan Jones

March 10, 1945 - April 16, 2022

Stan Jones, age 77 of St Augustine passed April 16, 2022 at Mayo Hospital, Jacksonville. Stan was a business owner in our community since 1974. Stan was known for being an amazing support to many of the children's athletic programs in our local community. Stan would provide and care for any one in need. Stan was a wonderful Father, Grandfather, and a Papa to many. Setting an amazing example for everyone around. Stan also proudly served in the US Navy, from July 1963-July 1967. Stan was extremely proud of his service given for the betterment of our country. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Craig Funeral Home, Burial with military funeral honors will follow at Craig Memorial Park. A visitation will be held 5:00PM -7:00PM Friday at Craig Funeral Home. He is survived by his longtime friend and companion Debbie Jones, sons: James Jones (Anna), Steven Jones, Jr. (Misty). Daughter: Debbie Jones Budd Bailey (Eric). Grandchildren: Zachary Budd, Jeremy Budd, Anthony Glisson, Baron Long, Steven Jones, III, Jessica Jones, Cynthia Jones, Gwendolyn Jones. Great grandchildren: Aurora Budd, Nara Sue Glisson and Steven Jones, IV. Sisters Opal Smith, Maxine Lacey and Betty Womack. Several nieces and nephews he loved. He was especially fond of nephews Michael Sykes and Ken Smith.
