Thomas Richard "Dick" Myers

Thomas Richard Myers was born on May 27, 1948, in Asheville, North Carolina, to Thomas and Elizabeth Myers. When he was four, the family moved to South Florida, and he spent his childhood in Boca Raton, where he developed his love of snorkeling, diving, boating and fishing. He graduated from St Andrew's School in 1966, and went on to receive a bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee. Dick was a talented designer and builder. He built two home in Flagler Beach, and another on the marsh in St Augustine. He and his wife Ann opened and ran Old Moultrie Day School for twenty one years, and he was a partner in Beach Locksmith. Dick had multiple interests and areas of expertise, including cars, firearms and coins. He was a gourmet cook, always preparing new and exciting dishes. Dick is survived by his wife, Ann; his daughter, Heather Myers Martin of Gainesville; his sister Nancy Raby (Craig) of Cumming, Georgia; and his nephew Landon Raby (Kelly). He is predeceased by his parents, and his nephew, Andrew Raby. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
