Walter Lee Hill, age 88 went to be with his savior on Monday July 26, 2021. He was born in Remlap, AL and had resided in St Augustine since 1959. He was an aircraft electrician and had worked at Fairchild and later retired from Grumman. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Korea. He was a member of the St. Augustine First Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tom Adams officiating. Burial will be in Craig Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 5:00PM -7:00PM Wednesday at Craig Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his son Steven and grandson Matthew Webb. He is survived by his wife 63 years Elaine. Daughter: Michele Andrews (Jerry) and son: Jeffrey Hill (Dyane) Sister: Linda McKinley. Daughter in law Corinne Hill. 7 grandchildren, Justin (Wendy), Jake, Kenneth,(Rebecca) Kevin,(Casey) Stephanie, (Levi) Heather (Drew) and Matthew (Rachel). 4 great grandchildren: Jase, Josie, Hudson and Jackson.
